ESU is inviting you to check a new Blog in English about Belarusian youth. Logbook.generation.by tells about life and interests of young people in Belarus. The Logbook will be regularly updated with approximately 1-2 posts per week and will explain most important news at Generation.by during that week as well as description of most interesting discussions and events that were happening.

The creators of the Logbook explain: "We are launching this blog as a ship which is going to travel around the Belarusian web-see and explore the Belarusian youth. All most interesting facts of this journey are going to appear in this Logbook. We will be glad to have you on board with us in this voyage, so don't hesitate to ask questions and to raise topics which interest you."

About Generation.by:
Generation.by is an online project which started last spring and is a descendant-project of www.studenty.by. The articles and news in this web-page are written for and about active young people who were born or were growing up in Belarus after the collapse of the Soviet Union and by leaving their lives encountered all the difficulties of the complicated political situation in Belarus after 1990 and now represent the so-called “Belarusian Generation Y”.

Generation.by team put the following objectives for themselves: to help young people to form unbiased attitude to events in fields of education and culture; and on the whole – to the situation in the country and abroad. This is not just another web-page to look through sometimes. This is a community which is regularly meeting offline and is open for all willing to join. Community Generation.by is trying to motivate Internet-active young people to take part in public life and attract them to public projects through realisation of creative ideas both in the Internet and in real life.

Today Generation.by Community is a team of publicly active young people: specialists (artists, designers, journalists) and amateurs of information technologies, leaders on their work and study places. This is the team of creative people that for reaching team tasks use modern attitudes as the best way of work with the most progressive part of society – students and youth.
