ESU held its 53rd Board Meeting and Seminar in Vilnius, organised together with the Lituanian Student Organisations LSS and LSAS. The issue of the BM-seminar was gender equity: 120 student representatives from all over Europe discussed issues like: general awareness raising, exchange of knowledge and experiences on gender equality issues in higher education, importance of gender equality for higher education and student unions, the correlation with the situation in the wider society, obstacles and exchange of good practice examples on how to combat gender discrimination in higher education.
